I used to think I was the only one to find The Grinch as a creepy character. I always found him a bit sinister, I mean.. look at him. Even though The Grinch is something straight out of your nightmares, he was made to be a nice guy(?) in the end. Although, The Grinch as we know him is getting reimagined into what I’ve always believed him to be in the new horror parody movie “The Mean One“.

The Mean One will follow a girl in Frazier Park named Cindy You-Know-Who. She was orphaned after The Grinch brutally murdered her parents. 20 Christmases after the tragic incident, she returns to Frazier Park to get answers as to why this happened. Unfortunately, The Grinch hasn’t changed much, and it seems his bloodlust hasn’t changed either. The movie will have material from the 1957 Dr. Seuss book The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. The release date is set for this holiday season on December 15th, 2022.
