Death Note is getting another live-action version on Netflix. This time, it will be in the form of a series. If you’re not familiar, Death Note is a manga & anime that follows Light Yagami, a high school student that has the power to discreetly kill on command by writing names in a book. The book that the names are written in, is called the Death Note.
I’ll be honest, i’m not too much of a fan of the first film Netflix tried to do. It didn’t follow the actual story, and was pretty boring to me. Hopefully, this new series being created can actually do the job correctly. It’s a very thrilling ride, that will keep you at the edge of your seat every episode; if done right. This time it will be created by the creators of Stranger Things: the Duffer Brothers, as a part of their new production company: Upside Down Pictures. I trust that they will get the job done and deliver a great project.
