UPDATE 3/15: Demon Slayer’s Swordsmith Village Arc will release on April 9th, 2023.
Demon Slayer is one of the best animated anime’s i’ve ever seen. Huge thanks to the animation studio UFO Table! Demon Slayer follows a boy named Tanjiro, who fights for his family after they are brutally murdered by demons. In this world, demons come out at night and they don’t look much different from regular humans. Unfortunately, Tanjiro’s sister turned into a demon in the attack. But she’s a special kind of demon that doesn’t attack him, so she keeps him company on his travels. They fight to survive in a world ruled by fear.
Demon Slayer Season 3 Release Date
The release date for Demon Slayer Season 3 is April 2023. You will be able to stream it on Crunchyroll. We will see Tanjiro and members of the Hashira fight more demons to save humanity. The first episode will be a 1 hour special, which is great news for fans who have been waiting at the edge of their seat for the new season. The last season (Entertainment District) was the most intense Demon Slayer season yet, I can only imagine how much more intense It gets in the new season. Demon Slayer Swordsmith Village Arc Will Premiere In Theaters
The Demon Slayer movie “Mugen Train” was an amazing film showing one of the Hashira members named Rengoku. If you haven’t seen that movie, I highly recommend it. Today it was announced that the last two episodes of the Entertainment District Arc and the first episode of the Swordsmith Village Arc will play in theaters across the world. This is a special theatrical release and i’m excited for it. Check the dates of the movie release in your country below (along with some special guest appearances).
- Japan: February 3 in 418 theaters, including 41 IMAX screens
- Tokyo: Special screenings with guest appearances on February 4 and 5
- Los Angeles: February 18 at The Orpheum Theatre with Natsuki Hanae, Yūma Takahashi, and a performance by Aimer (Tickets go on sale on January 7 at Ticketmaster)
- United States and Canada: March 3 in over 1,700 theaters in both English-subtitled and -dubbed versions
- Paris: February 25 with Yūma Takahashi
