The new and upcoming anime “Onimusha” follows the story of Miyamoto Musashi, a legendary swordsman who is tasked with defeating the evil Genma and his army of oni. Musashi is joined on his quest by a group of brave warriors, including Mitsunari Ishida, Kojiro Sasaki, and Oyu. Onimusha is set in the early Edo Period, a time when Japan was transitioning towards peace and warfare was fading into history. However, a dark force is lurking beneath the surface, threatening to destroy the fragile peace.
