The first post on Korruption Studios was on February 26th, 2022. Although, things didn’t really get started until March 1st, 2022 with the post: From You, 10 Years Ago// To You, 10 Years Ago. A year ago, from yesterday. Unfortunately this is no time to celebrate, as I lost my father on the (unofficial) one year anniversary.
Throughout the past year I’ve wrote articles every single day, even managing to post probably 20% the seconds before midnight. Although, this is a lie. There were a handful of days in which I didn’t post and just adjusted the date. As much of my dream as it was to have one year of discipline in posting, it was a facade. Yesterday, after the passing of my father I let my ego’s dream go. That wasn’t as important as I ever made it out to be.
What is important is our communication and bonding with the one’s we love. Life can change in an instant. I understand that now. For someone who saw my dad every single day, I haven’t had a photo with him in around 2 years.. I didn’t think it at the time, but my dad has been in and out of the hospital for the last 2 years. I did change, but still, I didn’t change enough.
I want my father to know that I’m doing ok, and that he shouldn’t worry about me. I love him and he will live through me. So, I dedicate this anniversary of my Korruption Studios website to my father Troy Fraction.
Rest In Peace, Dad. I love you forever.
