This is a story about Hollywood at the end of the Silent Film era. It covers the transitional period as film transformed from Silent Films, to “Talkies“. Although, this won’t capture all the boring and dull aspects of the process. Instead, Babylon decided to show the party in the form of an Epic.
Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie star in this film as actors that came up in two different times. Brad Pitt was a Silent Film legend, while Margot Robbie is coming up during the talking era in the Roaring 20’s. Pitt’s character coaches young Margot to rise to be a star and she will do anything to get there. There is plenty of debauchery, drugs, and crime in the film, depicting truth during this wild Hollywood era.
