One Piece is currently the longest running anime, with over 1,000 episodes released. It follows the pirate adventures of Luffy, a young boy with strange powers. The show has been a mega-hit with a fanbase that’s still very active even over the 20+ year span.
One Piece released a movie overseas not too long ago called “One Piece: Red“. The movie released in Japan on August 6th. Starting in November, fans in the United States will be able to watch in theaters as well. The film follows Uta, a character known for singing on Music Island yet she keeps her identity a secret. She will be performing her first concert and reveal herself to the world. I’m sure there are major spoilers in the movie, so if you aren’t caught up to the current anime, I would advise against seeing it. Though, if you are caught up, you are in for a treat!
