Psycho-Pass recently announced an online exhibition which will take place in February. Along with that news, it’s now announced that the anime will be getting a movie titled: Psycho-Pass Providence. This movie will be a prequel as opposed to a continuance. It seems to be taking place before the 3rd season.
Psycho-Pass Synopsis: Set in a dystopia of Sibyl System’s governance of Japan, the plot follows the young woman Akane Tsunemori. She is introduced as a novice Inspector assigned to Division One of the Public Safety Bureau’s Criminal Investigation Division, in charge of solving crimes with latent criminals, Enforcers.
Psycho-Pass Providence Release Date
Unfortunately for the United States, the release date is yet to be announced. Although, in Japan the movie will be airing in theaters on May 12th, 2023. We can expect the movie to release oversea’s not too long after.
