Garfield, the iconic lasagna-loving cat from the long-running comic strip, is getting the animated feature film treatment. Actor Chris Pratt has been tapped to lend his voice to the grumpy feline in the upcoming movie, titled simply “Garfield.” Plot details remain scarce, but the film is expected to be an animated comedy aimed at audiences of all ages. Fans can likely expect the movie to capture Garfield’s signature wit and love for food, alongside his often-strained relationship with his owner, Jon Arbuckle, and his canine companion, Odie.
