Everyone who works on an animation project must work hard in a stressful environment. Deadlines, workload, and edits all contribute to the process of the making of an anime can be stressful. With MAPPA specifically, the studio struggled managing their workload with staff as many of them came out to say that they were overworked and were forced to submit unfinished work. Ironically, MAPPA has been working on a project in the background that focuses on a young animator as she navigates her life titled Zenshu. Young high school graduate Natsuko Hirose quickly struck gold as her first project became a massive hit. Now, her next project is a romantic comedy but there is a big issue… She’s never been in love.
