The Hype is a show about fashion designers competing in challenges against one another to win a cash prize. The sweet thing about this show is that it’s not just fashion, but streetwear is what these designers specialize in. This is the first streetwear competition i’ve ever heard of, and it’s definitely a dope concept. I’ve watched season one, and can confirm that show is very entertaining.
Season 2 of The Hype released today and is available for stream on HBO Max. The cast includes Offset, Marni Senofonte, and Beth Birkett. They will be bringing along 13 cast members to compete for survival in the streetwear competition. The winner gets a $150,000 cash prize.
