Atlanta is a show made by the comedian-turned artist Donald Glover. It follows the rapper Paper Boy (Brian Henry) and his manager Earn who is played by Donald. Season 3 just ended not too long ago, and it was a massive change from previous seasons. Instead of focusing on main characters of the show, Atlanta chose to make an anthology season of random themes. It was heavily criticized, but it was entertaining for the most part.
The upcoming season of Atlanta will be the 4th and final season. Donald has said that this season will be “the best TV since The Sopranos”. They will be returning to Atlanta in the final season (that’s a relief). Season 3 was filmed solely in Europe. This new season will be returning much faster than the previous. The wait for last season was 4 years long. The final season will air starting this September, only months after the last season finished airing! The premiere will feature 2 new episodes.
