Merry Christmas! I hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas. Around this time of year we all have some type of nostalgia; especially with the classic Christmas movies. This article is very opinionated in what I believe are the best Christmas movies of all time. There’s no particular order. Enjoy.
The Grinch (Animated Version)
Dr Seuss created The Grinch which is one of the most popular Christmas stories and movies ever made. The animated first film was released all the way back in 1966. It’s amazing to see how the animation still looks great even though it was made so long ago! The movie is a household name and needs to be on every single Christmas movie list. It’s the perfect Christmas story.
Eight Crazy Nights
Eight Crazy Nights is a holiday classic as well. While it is lesser known than The Grinch, the movie is nothing less than great. You will have many laughs watching the film, and also may drop some tears. Truly the embodiment of a good Christmas movie (and my favorite). I recommend all to watch this movie. It’s animated, but the main character is Adam Sandler.
The Polar Express
The Polar Express is #1 in millennial nostalgia for Christmas films, and for good reason. The Polar Express follows a kids trip to the North Pole in the middle of the night. Accompanied by many other children, the kids go on a journey to find out the truth of the North Pole. This is certainly one of the all-time great Christmas movies.
A Charlie Brown Christmas
Last but not least is A Charlie Brown Christmas. Almost traditional, you can still catch Charlie Brown specials every year around the holidays on Cable. A Charlie Brown Christmas is undeniably probably the most prominent Christmas special of all time. It’s always a feel-good tale with good messaging in the world of Charlie Brown, which really resonates with the audience. It’s a great watch every single year.
