Sony has just acquired the rights to the classic character of the jungle, Tarzan. Although, the new Tarzan film will see Tarzan in a completely new light. Ever since the first publication of Tarzan in 1912, the story has stayed somewhat the same. It will be refreshing to see Tarzan in a new, original story.

Release details at the moment have been bare, as it has only just been announced that the rights were acquired. More information will be posted when there’s any update. Tarzan became the “King of the Apes” as he was left to fend for himself after his parents were killed in the jungle. He was raised by the apes around him in the African Jungle. His transition and adaption from human to animal characteristics, then learning how humans interact again after human contact, makes his journey an interesting one to watch.
