It’s been 13 years since the last Friday The 13th film. Although, the franchise may not be done just yet. The hockey-masked-killer Jason Voorhees may be the most hostile and sinister of all slashers. Other slashers may haunt your dreams, or chase you with a knife, but those strange ch ch ah ah ah noises while being chased by a maniac with a machete is undefeated.
New Line Cinema released an instagram post announcing Jason’s return. I’ve always been a fan of slasher films so I’m excited for it. It seems like the slashers are making a comeback with Halloween releasing soon as well. I’m sure this film will exceed expectations, as the remakes of Friday The 13th have all been surprisingly good.
