Once again, Meta stays ahead of the game and is releasing a new virtual reality device in October. This will be the 3rd VR device that has been made by Meta (Facebook). The news comes from a podcast with Mark Zuckerberg and Joe Rogan where Zuckerberg says “there are a few big features for the new device coming out in October.”
The device releasing could be Meta’s Project Cambria. There has been a video released months ago detailing the features of this new VR headset. It’s bringing us closer to whatever the Metaverse actually is, by adding in new elements to mixed reality (virtual reality and augmented reality). This means that you will be able to have your virtual reality device react to the environment that you are in, while also being in full-color.
