Las Vegas is like an adult playground. From the luxury hotels, to themed casino’s, and nightly events you can definitely say that the city is alive. A new attraction has just arrived recently which is one of the most interesting projects ever made: the MSG Sphere.
The Sphere is made by MSG & Sphere Entertainment (SPHR). Over 17,000 seats are located inside an immersive dome that’s nothing like anything you’ve ever seen before. It is truly an incredible sight to see.
The Sphere will hosts concerts in a way that’s never-before-seen. U2 will be performing in September as its first guests. Also, Darren Aronofsky (director of The Whale) has made a film already for the MSG Sphere titled “Postcard From Earth”. This will be the first film of its kind which is a huge step forward, hopefully other filmmakers will follow his lead!
The MSG Sphere is located near the Venetian hotel. It has taken over $2 billion to complete the project with 6 million pounds of steel. The production quality is top tier as it has an immersive 18k camera resolution. You can visit the Sphere in Las Vegas now, and book tickets in September 2023. Postcard From Earth will start screenings in October 2023.
