Hunter x Hunter is one of the most popular anime ever made. Though the show left off on an ending that seemed like the finale of it all, there could be more to come.
Yoshihiro Togashi, creator of Hunter x Hunter, has been dealing with severe illnesses which caused the initial hiatus. Although, early this morning he tweeted about finishing up what he’s started. Apparently, the story in the manga (Japanese comic book) wasn’t finished and ended in the middle of an arc (which is compared to a season of a show).
There is a newfound hope that the show will return once this arc in the manga is finished. It was unclear if it was ever going to resume, so this is the best news a fan could hear.
