The beloved animated series Adventure Time is coming back for more adventures, this time with a gender-swapped twist. The new spin-off series, Fionna and Cake, will follow the titular characters, Fionna the Human and Cake the Cat, as they embark on a multiverse-hopping journey of self-discovery. Fionna and Cake first appeared in the Adventure Time episode “Fionna and Cake,” which aired in 2011. The episode was a parody of the original series, with the genders of the main characters reversed.
