Will Smith is starring in a movie about slavery called “Emancipation“. This will be his first movie since being banned from the Oscars for the slap. In this movie he plays a slave that escapes with only a bit of life left in him. This movie is a historical drama that’s set in Louisiana.
The movie will show Will Smith as he travels through Louisiana desperately trying to avoid all obstacles. He is traveling to reconnect with his family once again. Unfortunately, he’s being chased along the way by a slave master. It’s sad because this movie was inspired by real events that happened in the mid 1800s to a man named Gordon.
Emancipation Release Date
