The series has expanded to many spin-off shows due to high popularity, and now is releasing a Dragon Ball: Super movie, called Super Hero.

The plot of the movie follows Son Goku, Piccolo, and Gohan as they fight spirit androids Gamma 1 and Gamma 2. The movie scored #1 at the box office August 19th beating out Beast and Bullet Train!
