The first season, produced by MAPPA studio, captivated audiences with its unique blend of cyberpunk dystopia, supernatural horror, and slapstick comedy. We followed Caiman, the amnesiac man with a lizard head, and Nikaido, the bartender with superhuman strength, as they navigated the Hole, a garbage dump crawling with magic users and their monstrous creations, and the En, the gleaming utopia above, powered by the suffering of those below.
