If your mornings are anything like mine, you struggle to wake up and get out of bed in the morning. I set multiple alarms in the morning to prolong my sleep. Although, only recently have I found a good way to actually wake up and stay up. It does call for some will-power, though.
Sunlight in the morning is the most efficient way to start your morning (when possible). Within the first hour, exposure to sunlight can improve your health in a lot of different ways. The sunlight that you receive in the morning starts a cycle or rhythm In melatonin that’s correlates to when you get tired. So, if you are having trouble getting to sleep at night, try getting some sunlight in the morning.
Other than getting your sleep schedule correct and gaining motivation, there are also some major benefits to your health that occur. Exposure to sunlight or bright light in the morning can help fight insomnia, premenstrual syndrome, and seasonal affective disorder. Also, the vitamin D that comes from the sun can help get your daily nutrition.
