Beast is a new movie releasing on August 19th about a thrilling story of man vs. beast. Idris Elba stars as the family man that returns to South Africa with his kids. Although, danger appears when a rogue lion attacks a civilization that’s close-by. The movie follows the chase between the lion(s?) and Idris (with family) along with Bradley Cooper.
There’s movies such as Anaconda and Jaws that do very well with the concept of predator vs. humans. In my opinion, this movie is bringing back the animal-thriller genre. They always seem a bit creepier because they are more realistic.
What are your chances of escaping a lion? Very slim if you have your back turned running away, although you are able to save yourself by not moving. As crazy as it sounds, standing your ground and making loud noises such as clapping your hands and shouting can make a lion ease off of you. You should make yourself as big as possible when confronted, and retreat slowly if at all. Though, never turn your back.
