Barbarian released more than a month ago on September 9th. I meant to write about it before it released, but by the time I got to it, it was too late. I will say that I haven’t seen the movie, so don’t worry this article will be spoiler free.

Nowadays, you don’t see too many movies (especially horror movies) that have good reviews from every publication. Although, Barbarian is crushing it; and I haven’t seen this much love for a (horror) movie since Hereditary. I’ve been advised to stay away from trailers before watching the film, although I did see one about a week ago. This trailer was titled “Justin Long’s New Movie“. I’d recommend you watch that trailer as well, if you know nothing about the film. All I can say about this movie is that it’s about a woman (Georgina Campbell) arriving at a rental home which she thinks is vacant.

Barbarian HBO Max Release Date

Barbarian will be releasing on HBO Max on Tuesday, October 25th. I’ll be watching the day of the release to see what the hype is all about. Be warned though, and don’t be fooled, this is a horror movie. It’s been crowned the scariest movie of the year. Although, that decision ultimately is yours to make.
