For years it’s been teased that Netflix will start penalizing users for sharing passwords. They’ve been able to knock down the number of devices per account, but now there’s going to be an ever stricter rule. They are going to attempt to stop password sharing completely to boost their numbers.
When Will Netflix End Password Sharing?
My guess is that another tier will be added to Netflix for around $20 to allow family to use your account. Although, that’s just theory. It hasn’t been announced exactly how this will happen, but it will be implemented in 2023. They are looking to cast legal action against all who disobey their password sharing regulations.
