You People is a new upcoming film about an unsuspecting guy wanting asking for a fathers hand in marriage. No matter how you slice it, it’s usually a tough conversation. But it’s especially tough when you have to convince Eddie Murphy to marry his daughter, Lauren London. Did I mention that the unsuspecting guy is Jonah Hill? The film is written by Kenya Barris and Jonah Hill and directed by Kenya Barris.

Do you remember the Bernie Mac movie with Ashton Kutcher called “Guess Who”? It’s basically the same movie, modernized. Also, with an all-star cast. It’s especially funny because if you remember 22 Jump Street a similar occurrence happened with Jonah and Ice Cube’s daughter in the hilarious sequel. In “You People” Jonah tries to convince the father of his girlfriend that he’s not like other white people.
