The silence of the movie plays a big part in the thrill of it, you feel like you are actually in the woods with them. At the time, viewers of the movie thought everything was real. Advertisements for the movie were made to make it seem like a found documentary of lost footage rather than a motion picture. It worked, and adds to the legend of the movie. Now, we have a new Blaire Witch Project emerging from the popular horror studio Blumhouse. Details are still TBA because the film has only just been announced.
